The Hippo

Now that the kitchen is almost, almost finished, I've reinstated the hippos as the kitchen mascot. 

Then I got the great inspiration to paint the banana bowl to match!

how to paint both sides of an object,
how to paint hippo eyes,

what a hippo back side might look like,
the purpose of grey.

Looks like I might have learned a little more about the shape of a hippo snout...
